Company structure
Freemans is the only major player in this field that is 100%
Australasian owned.
It is owned by shareholders who also run and manage claims
in their respective parts of Australia and New Zealand.
The Board of Freemans is chaired by Robert Harrison, an independent
director well known and highly regarded in insurance. Martin
Hartcher, Freemans CEO is also on the Board. Martin comes
from a senior management background not insurance. The other
directors elected by Freemans shareholders are Ken Bullen,
Tony Button, Lee Cooper, Nick Morgan, Andrew Thomas and Peter
Thomas.
